Cuban Pete - Bob Has No Food - Prod BoFaat

A statement from Cuban Pete:

"I am not black but I wanted to address something about the current situation without being that white guy telling black folks what to do. So instead I decided to address the people who are just distracting from the main issues.

Like most white people I have experienced prejudice in some form so I can empathise to a point but will never totally understand what black people all around the world experience daily and have gone through collectively for over 400 years.

The response to #blacklivesmatter is often 'All Lives Matter'. Although often meant in a good way it is counterproductive to #blacklivesmatter as it shifts the focus away from the main issue..

To break it down:
Bob sits down at the dinner table.
Everyone gets a plate of food apart from Bob.
Bob says "Bob deserves food".
Everyone at the table responds with "Everyone deserves food." and carries on eating.
Although Everyone Deserves Food is a true statement it does nothing to actually rectify the fact...
BOB HAS NO FOOD!!

This track is a message and response to the All Lives Matter people who need to learn. And the ones who know exactly what they are doing who need to just STFU."
