UKHH.com reviews Cuban Pete's Renaissance Man mixtape
The UK's largest Hip Hop site posts a review of Cuban Pete's Renaissance Man.
Cuban dropped the project back in July on the C75Live.com site and since then it has picked up pace after being released into online stores and streaming sites.
Feedback for the project has always been positive so far and that has not changed with this review.
"With a style all of his own and a sound bathed in the glow of old-school US productions, Renaissance Man is a fitting reminder to the new generation that you don’t need a mouthful of Xanax and a series of regrettable face tattoos to get noticed."
"Pete’s laid-back flow can be misleading, lulling you into a false sense of security then dismantling your preconceptions with lyrical dexterity."
UKHH.com was established in 1998 as a non-profit online magazine with the sole aim of providing an alternative source of hip-hop news, views, and interviews.
Over the years a dedicated team of volunteers has achieved that task with their independent site holding in excess of 2500 reviews, 600 interviews, and numerous news pieces and feature articles. During that time the site has established excellent contacts with artists, record labels and forum members.
An online query for ‘UK hip-hop’ will find UKHH.com at the top of most search engine results. This led to The Guardian commenting in 2005 that UKHH.com was ‘the only reliable source for UK hip hop news and reviews’.
